Enclosure and Crease, roofing material, wax ,  tar, pigment 1979/ 1980
Tower Piece   and   For J. B. , 1979/1980   wood

The three-dimensional pieces contain allusions to architecture (initially specifically Precolumbian architecture) and can be understood as systems within which to experience space. Ambiguities in the viewer’s perception of scale are intentional. The works on paper are closely linked to the constructions and often function as working drawings.
